The PIPP program was written natively for Windows systems. As a Linux user you probably know about Wine emulator for Linux. It is possible to install PIPP on Linux over Wine. The project page has a description of how to install and run the PIPP program over Wine.
Personally, I performed the installation in a different way than described on the PIPP page. I used the PlayOnLinux overlay, which is definitely a better and simpler solution for handling Wine, in addition it allows you to conveniently manage the environment of the Wine program and the programs it support, of course written for Windows systems 😉REad more
